Competent Person Training: For Trenching and Excavation
To provide a trench safety training program which meets CAL-OSHA title 8 requirements pertaining to excavations, trenching, sloping techniques, and soils classification. This course meets OSHA's requirement to have at least one employee trained in trench and excavation safety and designated as the 'Competent Person' on each jobsite.

Storm Water Pollution Prevention Training
It is mandated that the individuals responsible for SWPPP Preparation, Implementation, and Permit Compliance including the personnel responsible for Installation, Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of BMP's be appropriately trained and that all training be documented by SWPPP.
Subjects covered are:
- Principles of Storm Water Management
- Updated information on the California General Permit
- Elements of a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan
- How to prepare an effective SWPPP using cost-effective and efficient BMP's.
- Post-Fire Emergency remediation
- Drainage, Sediment, Erosion and Non-Stormwater BMP's.
- NPDES permit requirements

Course is taught by Michael Harding, CPESC. Michael has over 35 years experience in erosion and sediment control, resource management, mined land reclamation, wildlife habitat development and non-point source pollution control both in the United States and overseas.
Confined Space Training
The Confined Spaces program is intended to provide construction managers, qualified and competent persons, with the basic information regarding entry into confined spaces. It's purpose is to create an awareness of the hazards associated with confined spaces and provide basic information necessary to establish a confined space entry program.
The course will cover:
- Developing a confined space entry permit program
- Planning for confined space entry
- Identifying hazards and how they occur.
- Learning emergency rescue procedures.
- Respiratory protection techniques
- Important definitions
